These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the NovaScope Journal website and subscription services (collectively, the "Services") operated by NovaScope Journal ("we," "our," or "us").

By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the Terms, you may not access the Services.

2. Subscription Services

2.1 Subscription Plans

We offer various subscription plans, including monthly, quarterly, and yearly options. The features included in each plan are described on our website. We reserve the right to modify, terminate, or otherwise amend our offered subscription plans.

2.2 Billing and Renewals

By selecting a subscription plan, you agree to pay the subscription fees indicated for that plan. Unless otherwise stated, subscription fees are paid in advance and will automatically renew at the end of each subscription period unless canceled by you prior to the renewal date.

2.3 Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your subscription at any time by contacting our customer service team. Upon cancellation, your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing period, after which it will not renew.

2.4 Price Changes

We reserve the right to adjust pricing for our subscriptions or any components thereof in any manner and at any time as we may determine in our sole and absolute discretion. Any price changes will take effect following notice to you.

3. Intellectual Property

All content published in NovaScope Journal, including articles, graphics, logos, and design elements, is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store, or transmit any of the material on our website, except as follows:

  • Your computer may temporarily store copies of such materials in RAM incidental to your accessing and viewing those materials.
  • You may store files that are automatically cached by your Web browser for display enhancement purposes.
  • If we provide desktop, mobile, or other applications for download, you may download a single copy to your computer or mobile device solely for your own personal, non-commercial use, provided you agree to be bound by our end user license agreement for such applications.

The Services are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. NovaScope Journal expressly disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory or otherwise, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

7. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of British Columbia, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

By continuing to access or use our Services after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, you are no longer authorized to use the Services.
